Customer Reviews Painter Said: So pleased..... ( Nov. 17th 2009 )I've had the Vistablet for over a year and a half. It is the first and only tablet I've used so I can't compare it to another brand. I can say that it has been consistently dependable. I am most impressed with the service I've received from Vistablet. All calls are returned, and the technical support is awesome. I feel I can call these folks anytime and they will be receptive and patient with me. When I purchased Vistablet, I dreaded the installation process (on any product) and hate to read instructions, the folks at Vistablet talked me through the process - after hours. I am an artist and need a solid tool, the Vistablet hasn't disappointed me yet.Technologist Said: Vis Tablet not ideal for Market ( Nov. 13th 2009 )I bought the Vis Tablet based on reviews and peoples opinion that a large pad is better. First let me say that installation for Vista Ultimate was very easy. It does recognize it as the instructions say. But it is better to install the supporting software to get the full use out of it. I have not seen any part of the advertisement that is false and it is easy to use. Many things claim to be intuitive and are not. It too is not as easy as you might think but it is far better then anything else I have seen. But... 1. The pen is cheap and not a good quality pen. It does work and does perform well but it is more a toy then what you would expect for everyday use. 2. This is most important. Most every review I saw mentioned the large work are for artwork and drawing. Think about it, when you are doing art work, other then painting you are not moving your hand much or over a great distance. Even for the computer you would not use brush strokes like you would on a canvas. The hand is very versatile and very precise in a small area. In addition you can magnify or reduce your canvass on a computer unlike in real life. You don't need a large work area. If you are creating computer graphics you now have a huge pad to cross if you want a line or graphic that goes across a page. The detail mentioned in ads is true but you can get the same detail from a smaller pad. This is a huge negative for this pad. It is very inconvenient to work with such a large pad. Even the easy touch buttons are so far apart it makes it difficult to use them efficiently. 3. As a mouse the pad follows my moves perfectly. As a pen, pencil or paint brush it does not record every stroke. A good example of this is the signature touch pads in stores. Notice how you sign and yet there are gaps in the pen stroke. It is no different on this pad. I think the pad is a wonderful idea but it is not yet ready for the market place. Wait.J. Aramendia Said: Vistablet 12-Inch Tablet ( Oct. 15th 2009 )This product is perfect for my load calculation projects. It works well when drawing blueprints, and similar applications. I have officially thrown away the pen and paper note pads. All of my notes notes are done on the computer and saved for future reference.V. Self Said: Love it ( Oct. 14th 2009 )This product is easy to use and affordable. I am an artist trying to move into the computer generation. I had thought that a pad and pen out of my price range but a friend mentioned their price had come down, for someone like me, just learning how to use computer graphics programs, it was a true breakthough and much more comfortable and familiar than using a mouse to draw. I highly recommend it.M. BAILEY Said: VisTablet 12-inch ( Sep. 10th 2009 )After reading the good and bad reviews and nothing being to recent I was getting a little hesitant about buying this product. I looked at a lot of different versions but not liking the smaller screens and the PRICE of the smaller ones, all paths kept leading me to this one matter who's site i was on and Amazon was the most reasonable naturally. But I do have to say this was easy to hook up if you have Vista just plug it in can't get more simpler than that and as for as the macro buttons mine work and respond great, the pen seems to be fine i was just going to town drawing and writing a few lines and noticed I had the pen tilted and a pretty good angle. Did notice if I got too relaxed with it it would start skipping. that is the only thing I can find negative to say about it. all in all I think it is a great buy especially for the price and it does have 2 year warranty with it.« Back VisTablet Large Mini Tablet 12 inch
